This comprised + 86 families, which currently engaged in community tourism. They receive annually around + 16,000 visitors both national and foreign, who come to discover the remains of the keep culture, admire the dry and tropical forests or to benefit from the medicinal properties attributed to the waters of its lagoon of sulfur.

In the "Agua Blanca" Ancestral community, you will find a resting place, full of ancient knowledge, culture, and history.

It is located in the Machalilla National Park, parish of Machalilla, Puerto Lopez, Manabi province canton. He is accessed via the coast, 12 km north of Puerto Lopez. It has a paved road to the village of the commune where the Museum is located.

The Park Machalilla covers an area of 55.095 ha land where develops the ecosystem of the tropical dry forest, tropical humid forest and the marine ecosystem, including silver and Salango Islands.

The more populated Park area corresponds to the town of Agua Blanca, which has tourist attractions as the archaeological site of the same name, the site Museum, and the lagoon that has medicinal properties because of its sulfurous waters.
